The morning started out with a 70% chance of rain with it fading out around 3.  As I pulled into The Bertram’s driveway, it was pouring down.  I sat in my car while I waited to be let in the gate and prayed that it would quickly pass.  

The ceremony was held in the back part of the bride’s family field in Williamson, GA. Such a sweet and sentimental spot as well.  The couple meet in this very location many years ago following a plane crash that happened. 

The ceremony was one for the books!!! Their blue tick coonhound, Bama, even cried during the vows as Tommy read his to Bailee, the guests cried, and I cried….which isn’t unusual for me, ha!

Dylan + Kimberly | Hummingbird Hill Farm Wedding

Dylan and Kimberly had their beyond gorgeous wedding at Hummingbird Hill Farms located in Perry, GA. I have been with this sweet and precious couple for almost 2 years now. Kimberly contacted me 2 years ago to book a maternity + newborn session, and their little nugget rocked his newborn session. Kimberly booked me for their engagement and wedding. It was a gorgeous, and fun filled day, shared by lots of family and love. And I won’t lie, I teared up many times. I completely lost it, as their son, Hayden, started down the isle and I overheard Dylan say “I am about to lose it”. You just grow these type of emotions with your clients when you share in so many joyous occasions with your sweet couples. I hope you guys enjoy looking at some of my favs from their special day.

And brides, I can say not say enough good about their venue. The owners were some of the sweetest people I have ever worked with. If you are looking for a wedding venue, def check them out!

John Ryan + Rebecca | A Romantic Downtown Savannah Wedding

John Ryan + Rebecca were married at the same spot as my husband and I, so it was a super special wedding for us. It was hot, and I am covered from head to toe from bites from sand gnats, and some chiggers, but y'all it was totally worth it!!! It was a gorgeous day, with so much emotion, and bless it....y'all, JR wrote vows to Rebecca's kids, and it had me all in my feels. I was bawling behind my camera. Straight up bawling!!!! At one point during their formals, JR asked me 'you love your job, don't you'. I was like 'ha, is it obvious?' This couple is so precious to me, and Rebecca I am going to miss our every other day 'wedding texts'! Rebecca and her girls got ready at Mirabelle Suites and Cafe - and it was beyond gorgeous. Following prep, we went around downtown Savannah for portraits on the trolley that was reserved for the day. We then headed to Wormsloe Plantation - which is a southern brides DREAM for her wedding day, for the ceremony and we ended the night dancing away and enjoying a low country boil and an oyster bake at Wyld Dock Bar.
