Autumn Moon
Autumn Moon || Central GA Newborn Session
First off, words can not describe how excited I am to be back in the newborn game! Most of you all know by now, that I moved into a studio in Byron, GA with a good photographer friend of mine, Madison Lowe Photography about a month ago. And let me just tell y’all, this has been a total game changer for me! Now don’t get me wrong, I loved traveling to my clients homes so they didn’t have to get out with a brand new baby - trust me, as a mom of 3 boys I know how hard it is to get out in a timely manner. Especially when you have multiples! But, I was so limited on props without renting a u-haul truck! I love the fact that I am able to discuss colors and nursery themes with clients and have everything setup and ready to go when you arrive to the studio. TOTAL GAME CHANGER!!!!
Ok, enough rambling. Let’s talk about this gorgeous baby below. Autumn Moon. She was such a sweetheart and barely made a peep - except when she was ready to nurse. And can we talk about her headful of gorgeous golden hair! I didn’t want to put bonnets and tiebacks on her because of her hair. I was mesmerized by it.
If you are expecting, and interested in a newborn session, or bundling a maternity and newborn session, let’s chat!
Congratulations to The Merritt Family! Your new addition is precious!!!
Taylor and Chad
Taylor and Chad’s historic plantation wedding at The Bailey Teabault House
Happy Monday friends! We kicked off our first wedding of 2019 - and let me tell you - it did NOT disappoint!
Friday night, I gathered with Chad and Taylor’s family and friends at their rehearsal dinner. Taylor’s daddy got me all in my feels about ‘lucky fries and making wishes’. It made me realize I need to slow down a little for my kids - anyways. I remember the very first time I met Taylor, and her mom, Mrs. Debbie, I asked about doing first looks with everyone. Taylor told me she wanted to do one with her daddy and her girls, and that her daddy probably wouldn’t be emotional. I asked Taylor “are you an only child?” In which she replied with ‘yes” - Oh girl, he will cry! The tears from her daddy started moving Friday night during his speech, and continued on throughout the day Saturday.
Chad and Taylor have been together since 7th grade - it’s like a real life ‘boy meets world’ story!
Saturday was filled with so much joy and tears of happiness from everyone. If you know Taylor, you know that she loves history - which was one of the reasons she choose to get married at the Bailey Teabault House. There is so much history behind this gorgeous plantation home. And after her mom zipped her dress, Taylor’s whole look came together - Jackie Kennedy! Totally not even kidding, you’ll see when you scroll down the blog post.
The weather was perfect, the bride and groom were gorgeous, and we rocked the night away with an amazing band - who I have also had the pleasure of working with in St Simons before - so I knew we’d have an awesome reception!
I hope you all enjoy Taylor and Chad’s ‘Best Day Ever’.

Patrick and Grace
Patrick and Grace’s engagement session at Arabia Mountain
I am so behind on blogging this gorgeous and romantic engagement session. After a weekend of rain ruining our original location - super muddy trails - we decided on Arabia Mountain. I have shot at this location numerous times, and my husband and I actually had our 4th anniversary pictures done here, but y’all….I have never ventured all the way to the top of the mountain. Let me just tell y’all. Holy cow. Now, being up on top of that mountain with a ton of fog, a little mist and some fall color still hanging on - because y’all know we don’t get our fall color until November around here - it was a photographers dream. Patrick and Grace rocked their session, and I can not wait to photograph their wedding this summer at their dream venue.
Atlas is 3
Let’s go read about dinosaurs at the Butts County Library
Happy Sunday Funday, friends!!! So, alongside of my goal of more blogging of sessions this year, is to think more outside the box for sessions. When I asked Jenny, Atlas’ mommy, what he was into right now, and when she replied with ‘reading and dinosaurs’, my first thought was ok!!! Let’s go to the library and read dinosaur books! I got super excited about the dinosaur part, haha!! Did I ever tell you guys that I was in a dinosaur club when I was little? I used to get posters and a new toy dinosaur every month!
Anyways, thanks to the ladies at the Butt’s County Library for letting us do this. And if you have not checked out their ‘Easy Reader Room’, put it on your must do list if you have littles who like to read!
Wesley + Harley
Downtown Savannah and Tybee Engagement Session
What an exciting start to a fresh new year! We have so many travel plans lined up for this year, and I was so excited to kick start 2019 with traveling to my favorite romantic city in GA. Yup, you guessed it! SAVANNAH!!
I met Harley + Wesley down on River Street and we explored a little in town, and then traveled out to the marsh in Tybee. It was SO cold and windy, so we totally embraced the wind, and cold, and I was thankful that it wasn’t raining…what is it with the weather already again this year?! Anyways, I hope y’all enjoy this little preview on my blog, and I can’t wait to share the final gallery soon!
